Yes, I'm going to make everything available (plans, artwork, build cost spreadsheet etc) when I'm done with it. Scarface Soundtrack Zip on this page. I have the plans already 'done' but I'm having to revise some measurements and stuff as I go along because of on-the-fly changes and material changes.
If you're just talking about the artwork, I can put up a zip file with the PSD's later this afternoon or tomorrow. There is one thing to consider though, this cab will be absolutely huge (7'8' tall) so if you don't have 8' ceilings, you'll have to forego the marquee box or use a smaller TV (mine is a 50'). Well, I plan on making different parts of the plans available as I finish up different parts of the cab. I haven't done any woodworking in several years, and designed the cab in cad program, and already some of my measurements were off. I designed a full frame for the back part of the cab because it's going to be supporting a 50' plasma on a wall mount, and in my haste, I actually used 2' x 2' for the 2x2 framework, when 2x2's are actually 1.75' x 1.75', so there's some revision that needs to be done there Anyway, here's the artwork. It's got the first CP overlay, Marquee and Side Panel artwork.
The zip is 110MB, and the files are layered PSD's: Some notes on the CP: The buttons are VERY close together, in some instances, I had to trim some of the plastic retaining nut to get neighboring buttons to fit. This is mainly because I hand drilled the holes (no drill press). Also, buttons 5,6,7 and 8 are kinda worthless for players 3 and 4.
I added them mainly for aesthetics and because I'm playing around with the idea of using 2 computers in the machine, since the TV supports split screen (though I haven't quite figured this out yet), and it would be cool to have 2 two player games going on the same monitor at the same time. Gatsu, I wanted to personally thank you for your post of the cabinet-control-art-clean.psd. I am putting it to good use and it has really helped me out being a complete newcomer to Photoshop and artwork in general. Your layout has saved me a ton of time!
Next time your here in the forum, please PM me if you could. I have a 24' wide-print printer (using for my own art, posters, etc. Ribspreader Bolted To The Cross Rar there. ), and would like to offer you a free poster up to 24'x36'.
I print on photo-quality paper. Not archive stuff but looks really nice and lasts plenty long enough indoors.
Just wanted to return the 'favor' for your hard work that's helped others of us starting out! Thanks Again, John.
