The option to register via an account just does not appear when opening PhpStorm 7.0, 8.0 and 8.0.1, it only appeared in version 7.1.4 and seems to have regressed (unless I’m doing something terribly wrong). I have a key file but nothing much in it and the renaming trick doesn’t work for me.
