Best Answer: I too was looking for the custom skin tones you mentioned but with The Sims 3 it's actually quite different. If you go to Modthesims the skin tones you find there aren't actually individual skins you use for your sim, rather they replace the default look of the maxis made skin. So when you create a sim they will have the cleavage or 6-pack abs that you want. To install this file into your game I suggest downloading Delphy's TS3 Install Helper Monkey which you can find at Modthesims. After downloading proceed to download your desired file as you would normally do.

After extracting the files, (this is where the Install Helper comes in) simply right click and choose to 'Install to Sims 3'. The Install Helper will create the mods folder necessary for the mods to work and also does some other things that I'm not really sure to explain but I'll put the website in the source box:) After that the sims you create in CAS should have cleavage or the abs that you want. (Note that sometimes you'll have to download a separate file for the face to match the spectacle, or the shininess of the skin) You actually don't do anything with the 'My Documents' or 'Download Folder' as you would with TS2.
